You may only want to use your at-home sauna as an end of week treat, unwinding on a Friday or indulging in a Sunday reset. Alternatively, if you frequently exercise or simply want to reap the relaxation benefits that infrared saunas have to offer as often as you can, you may like doing several sessions throughout the week.

Cleaning an infrared sauna is far more straightforward than you may think. After each use, wipe down the surfaces with a towel to remove sweat residue. For a deeper clean, use a natural solution of water and mild detergent or white vinegar. 

Avoid chemical cleaners that can be absorbed by the wood and released during your next session, as this can be harmful both to the longevity of the sauna and yourself. Spray the solution on a cloth and wipe down the surfaces, focusing on high-sweat areas. Always ensure your infrared sauna is unplugged before cleaning. 

For the exterior, dust regularly, and remember to clean the glass doors with a glass cleaner. Lastly, allow the sauna to dry properly before your next session.
