The Energise Ice Bath can be installed indoors or outdoors. For best cooling performance and longest service life, place the Kiva Core Chiller in a shaded, well-ventilated area on the same level as the tub. Indoor installations require good ventilation, a water-safe floor and drainage.

Setup requires no permanent plumbing. Connect the insulated hoses between the tub and chiller, plug the Core into a standard 240V power point, then connect it to the Tuya app for remote temperature control.

For guidance on setup, instructions are included with every unit. Our Australian team is also available to assist with any questions after delivery.

The Energise Ice Bath pairs the natural thermal efficiency of Canadian Red Cedar with the intelligent cooling technology of the Kiva Core. The cedar helps retain cold and reduce temperature loss, while the 316 marine-grade stainless steel interior provides a durable, hygienic surface that resists rust, corrosion and moisture.

The Kiva Core uses a 1HP Panasonic compressor and titanium heat exchanger to cool the water down to 3°C. Its intelligent pump system checks the water temperature at regular intervals and activates the compressor when the temperature rises 2°C above your target, cooling it back to the set point only when needed.

While the system maintains temperature, the pump also supports ongoing water care. A reusable strainer and 20-micron filter capture debris and improve water clarity, while the built-in ozone generator runs automatically at set intervals to help keep the water clean between sessions.

The Energise Ice Bath with Core Chiller is designed with built-in water care to make regular cold plunging easier to maintain.

The Core uses a reusable strainer and 20-micron replaceable filter to capture debris and improve water clarity. Its spa-grade ozone generator produces 50 mg/hr and automatically operates for 30 seconds every 30 minutes to support ongoing water sanitation.

Regular maintenance is still required. Kiva recommends changing the filter and water and cleaning the strainer every 10–20 plunges, or earlier when needed. Never exceed 20 plunges or 4 weeks without completing this maintenance. Keep the tub covered when it isn't being used.

For safe operation, position the chiller on a hard, flat and level surface with adequate ventilation. Indoor installations require a water-safe floor and drainage. Keep the Core away from naked flames and empty the system if ambient temperatures are forecast to reach 0°C or below.

Intelligent Kiva Core Technology

The Energise ice bath is paired with the Core, an intelligent 1HP chiller designed for regular residential use and moderate commercial use.

Its pump checks the water temperature at regular intervals rather than running continuously. When the water rises 2°C above your selected target, the compressor activates and cools it back down. As the tub is used more and the water warms, the system automatically increases cooling, circulation and filtration.

The Core also combines a titanium heat exchanger, Panasonic compressor, vacuum priming pump, ozone sanitation and replaceable filtration in one system designed for long-term performance.

Reliable Cooling Down to 3°C

The Kiva Core cools water from ambient temperature down to 3°C using a 1HP Panasonic compressor with 2950W cooling capacity.

It uses R32 refrigerant, which Kiva states provides 10% more cooling capacity than an equivalent R410A system. The titanium heat exchanger contains seven metres of titanium tubing, with a minimum 19 mm opening designed to prevent blockages and maintain performance over time.

Once your target temperature is reached, the Core monitors the water and only activates cooling when required.

Its deep barrel design supports an upright position, giving you space to settle into your cold plunge whether you're recovering solo or sharing a session with a partner or friend.

Remote Temperature Control

The Kiva Core chiller connects through the Tuya app for remote temperature control, target temperature setting and monitoring.

Built-In Water Care

The Kiva Core combines automatic ozone sanitation with a reusable strainer basket and 20-micron replaceable cartridge filtration.

The strainer captures larger debris before it enters the chiller, while the cartridge filter improves water clarity. Its spa-grade ozone generator produces 50 mg/hr and operates automatically for 30 seconds every 30 minutes.

The filtration system also responds to use. As more plunges warm the water, the pump and compressor operate more frequently, increasing circulation and filtration when demand is higher.

The chiller requires 30 cm clearance on three sides and 100 cm on the fan side, and it must be kept away from naked flames.
